Heil Asia Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heil Trailer International, a leading manufacturer of aluminium petroleum and dry bulk tanks and trailers who started making tanks in 1901. Commencing operations in 1995 to serve the Asian and Australasian markets, the factory is at Bang Pa-in, Thailand, approximately 50 km north of Bangkok. Situated on five hectares, the factory and office building total some 12,500 square metres.The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was set-up along the lines of Heil’s flagship factory at Athens, Tennessee. Heil Asia’s engineering staff, in conjunction with the corporate research and development team, has custom designed tanks and trailers to all prevailing codes in the region, including U.S. DOT 406, UN/ADR and AS2809. The ever expanding product line now includes stainless steel tanks and trailers for chemical and other assorted applications, as well as a new partnership for aviation refueller equipment. With sales across the region from Pakistan to New Zealand, Heil Asia continues to grow its presence in the Asia-Pacific marketplace by offering our customers quality, innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement as witnessed by our attainment of ISO 9001-2000, on-going Kaizen events, and the incorporation of customer feedback in all phases of our business. Tanker Solutions is proud to represent HEIL tanks and trailers in New Zealand where over 200 HEIL tanks are currently in service on New Zealand roads. |
